Ana Cabello


(1987, Inca, Mallorca)

She studied fine arts at the University of Barcelona, finishing her studies at the Academy of Willem de Kooning (Rotterdam. Holland) in 2010. In the same year she won the competition organized by Converse, with the publication LaMono Magazine, illustrating the #63 cover. She participates in group exhibitions PRAXIS MMX (Department d’Educació i Cultura de les Illes Balears). In the 2012 she shows her work in a group exhibition 007 NEW BOND STREET (Gallery Federica Ghizzoni. Milan. Italy) and SCUSATE IL DISTURBO (Palazzo Isimbardi. Milan. Italy). In the 2013 she shows her work at the Palazzo Della Stelline, with the group exhibition curated by Rossella Farinotti, LOST IN CAOS. She has participated in the exhibition CONSUMIR PREFERENTMENT IN THE FESTIVAL MIRADAS DE MUJERES, with Diana Coca and Dolores Sampol, as well as in the “Festival de Cultura a casa/Galeria a casa” (Mallorca). She began to collaborate with 6A GALERIA D’ART_ 6A EDICIONS OBRA GRÀFICA _ TALLER 6A, showing her work in the exhibition S/T. In 2015 she exhibit the project CHEERS on BOX27 (Casal Solleric. Palma) curated by Tolo Cañellas and she participate in SALÓN DEL DIBUJO Y LA ILUSTRACIÓN ILUSTRÍSIMA 2015, (Museo ABC. Madrid). Her illustrations can be found in publications such as the magazine SModa (El país), Blanco Móvil (literary magazine, México), in the poetry books Sí­mbols 47 (editions LaBreu) and Molsa (AdiA editions) of Anna Gual. She is the author of the Retaule Pagà. L’éxtasi de Ca Na Toneta (Ca Na Toneta. Caimari Illes Balears). In the 2017 she displays her project NO ONE ASKED YOU TO SAVE ME at 6A GALERIA D’ART (Palma. Mallorca).
